This lecture revolves around two parallel strands in Revier’s work, each of which contains and reframes the other. One strand being her weaving practice, which primarily focuses on her ongoing project of handmade coats. The second strand is her sculptural practice, where text, textiles, built objects, installation, and performance collide. For VÄV2021 she will discuss how she came to textiles via sculpture, residing in a vague world between art and clothing, and the importance of intuitive making.
